JACQUELINE s an eclectic mix of a human being. Twenty-three years ago she was brought into the world, and if her mother had kept the receipt she would opt to take her back. Jacqueline is a filmmaker/photographer with a background in performing arts and musical theater. Her hobbies include inappropriate jokes, self deprivation and making fun of men in white pants.

KAYLA began life in the small Canadian prairie town of Lloydminister. She attended the University of Victoria as an Economics and Philosophy major before moving to Paris a year ago. Kayla likes: pretending to be French, the voice on the metro, picking off nail polish, the great leader, the first bite of a warm baguette, sitting on the Seine, writing on the first page of a notebook, sushi, being super Canadian, Carla Bruni singing, public bikes, gloves, slippers and toques, and American TV. Kayla doesn't like: the lights of the Bateaux Mouche, the smell of pesto, 'rendez-vous,' summer without beaches, small children, Carla Bruni not singing, washing greasy plates, hanging up wet laundry, losing things, being asked what she's going to do with a philosophy degree.

JEN was born in Perth, Western Australia and followed a fairly standard path through school and university until she realized there was more to life than sitting behind a desk. At that point, Jen rejected a career in law, packed her bags and set off wandering around the world. Many, many countries later, Jen found herself alone in West Africa drinking goat's milk and thought maybe she would like a change of scenery. A small trip through Mali with a group of petrol smugglers later and she found herself in France where she has been recovering ever since!

ANN-MARIE comes from the heart of that beautiful green island of Ireland. However, she grew up on a farm with no architectural beauty, art or intriguing history to speak of to enrich her life (just the lovely cows...she does miss them). This sparked a great desire to travel and move to the other side of the world. But she only got as far as Paris on a cheapy 1.5- hour Ryanair flight after meeting a beautiful French man. She has been here since Spring 2008 living the romantic dream. Eat your hearts out, girlies. Having very poor French skills and discovering that the French like it when you speak their language, the job prospects were poor. Then a friend mentioned "Hey Ann-Marie -- you like talking, why don't you become a tour guide?" Now she loves spending her days opening people's eyes to this beautiful city that has stolen her heart.

FRASER left bonnie (rainy) Scotland for the (somewhat) sunnier shores of France in 2008 after graduating from university. After one year in Paris, he had forgotten all of the facts of the Scottish legal system, and had replaced them with a vast knowledge of the most beautiful and romantic city in the world, PARIS! Those close to Fraser know that he fulfilled a lifelong dream becoming a tour guide -- to make a living from talking.

GABI is 22 years old and came to Paris from the Land of the Long White Cloud (more commonly known as New Zealand). After completing her B.Sc. at the end of 2008, she realized that her lab coat was doing nothing for her cool status, so she decided to move to the coolest city in the world -- Paris! There, she discovered that she apparently has a ridiculous accent, and is now unable to say the words 'six' or 'wink' without people either looking startled or laughing. Having the 'gift of the gab', Gabi became a tour guide and now shares her love of Paris with the travelers of the world.

MICHI NAKASHIMA Aunque mi nombre parezca indicar algo distinto, nací en Buenos Aires, Argentina, donde estudié Historia. En el 2003 me fui a vivir a Dresde, Alemania. En aquellas frías tierras seguí con mis estudios, y di clases de español. Desde febrero del 2008 estoy viviendo en París. Actualmente estoy haciendo una Maestría en Historia, y con los tours tengo la oportunidad de revivir y compartir con la gente varios momentos del pasado que fueron trascendentales para la ciudad y para toda Europa.

JESSICA Melbourne born and raised Jessica is our chief Pub Crawl Guide. Her love for fun, new friends and a great night out in Paris is what landed her the job. Jessica developed a love for Paris and the French language after spending 3 years as a flight attendant -- it seemed that flying to Paris once a month just wasn't enough for her! So she came to Paris to learn French, and is currently studying at the famous Sorbonne University.
